Looking Back on Our First Year

When we launched The Holly House Charitable Foundation, our aim was clear: to support local charities that make a real difference in the lives of children and young people. In our first twelve months we found our feet, listened to the needs of our community and got stuck into finding and supporting charities that work tirelessly every day.

Finding Our Place

The early months were about listening, learning and building relationships. We spent time with local organisations, understanding the challenges they face and exploring how we could play a role in helping them. It quickly became clear that even small amounts of support, whether practical, financial or hands-on, could go a long way.

A Year of Impact

From baby banks to food kitchens, hardship grants to children’s charities, our first year gave us the privilege of working alongside inspiring people doing vital work. Each project reinforced our belief that when communities pull together, lives are changed for the better.

Looking Ahead

Our first year has given us strong foundations. We are proud of the connections we have built and the charities we have been able to support, but this is just the beginning. As we grow, our focus remains the same. We will continue to work with local organisations that improve the lives of children and young people and we will keep spreading our reach so even more families and communities can benefit.
