At HHCF, we believe giving back isn’t just about donations, it’s about showing up. One of the most powerful ways we can support our community is through time, presence and care. No one demonstrates this better than our HHCF Trustee, Susie Wilkinson.
Every week, Susie volunteers at the Bradford Baby Bank, where she helps to organise donated clothes, put together essential packs and ensure families in need can access the basics that many of us take for granted. The work is practical and hands-on, but it’s also filled with compassion. A bag of baby clothes or a pack of nappies might seem small, yet for the families receiving them, it can make all the difference.
The video we’re sharing gives a glimpse into Susie’s regular commitment, not as a one-off gesture but as part of her ongoing dedication to helping others. Her involvement shows the heart of HHCF in action: supporting those who need it most, not just through funding, but by being physically present where help is needed.
Moments like these remind us what community is really about: people stepping forward, giving their time, and making sure that no one is left behind. We’re proud to see our trustee leading by example and hope Susie’s story inspires others to get involved in ways that feel meaningful to them.
