At The Holly House Charitable Foundation (HHCF), our mission is to support small, local charities that help young people living with poverty, disability or limited opportunities. Much of this work goes unseen, yet it changes lives every day.
That is why we are so proud to welcome Don Whitley Scientific Ltd as our first official corporate partner.
Based in Bingley, Don Whitley Scientific is a successful manufacturer with a strong local workforce and an international reputation. Their specialist equipment is used in hospitals, research laboratories and pharmaceutical organisations in more than 50 countries. Despite their global reach, they remain rooted in the local community, which makess them an ideal partner for HHCF.
For years, Don Whitley Scientific has chosen a single “charity of the year” to support. This has always been a generous gesture, but this year the team wanted to go further. By working with HHCF, they can now extend their support to several local charities, helping more people across our community and making their impact more meaningful.
As a first step, the Don Whitley team joined us at Bradford Baby Bank and Bingley Community Kitchen. Spending time on site gave them a close look at the challenges these charities face, from rising demand to stretched resources. It also showed the difference that extra hands, funding and awareness can make.
Partnerships like this are about more than financial donations. They are about working together, sharing values and creating lasting change. By teaming up, HHCF and Don Whitley Scientific can give more local charities the support they need to keep transforming lives.
